Glad Tidings Community Church http://www.gladtidingsri.org A family of Christian believers glorifying God in northern Rhode Island Mon, 16 Apr 2012 02:06:00 +0000 en hourly 1 http://wordpress.org/?v=3.2.1 GTCC IS GROWING http://www.gladtidingsri.org/gtcc-is-growing/ http://www.gladtidingsri.org/gtcc-is-growing/#comments Fri, 11 Nov 2011 04:08:07 +0000 Jonas http://www.gladtidingsri.org/?p=635 God is constantly refining who we are while giving us insight to who He is.  What an amazing God we serve!  You may have noticed that over the last few months the Church has been growing.  Sometimes we find ourselves working overtime trying to make the church look good in the eyes of the world in order to be attractive to those who might not otherwise come into a church.  The mistake that is made when doing this is that God needs no one to make Him more attractive then He already is.  It is our job to love and to stay out of the way.  The only thing that gives “churches” a bad wrap is US.  We get in the way of what God is wanting to do.  We anticipate that God will do amazing things through the rest of this year and onto 2012.  He has already been doing so much to us and through us.  If you’ve been in any of our services over the last few months, you know exactly what I mean.  Clearly God is up to something.  Don’t be left on the sidelines.  Jump in and enjoy finding God’s purpose for your life!
